Talisker Corporation has awarded Maher Construction the contract to design, supply and install a fully furnished office space to serve as one of the new model suites at 901 King Street West in Toronto. Global Group will be supplying the furniture for the model suite.

LifeMates Canada has secured a new location in Barrie, Ontario with the assistance of Colliers International and Maher Construction. Maher will be completing the interior renovations in the next couple months.

Maher is currently in the preliminary planning phase of a design / build condominium development in Whitby, Ontario. The development is expected to include 150 residential units and a 10,000 s.f. ground floor retail area. The initial plan includes 12 storeys of approximately 200,000 s.f. of gross floor area.

Maher Construction recently located and finalized a 10-year lease for a client to open a new medical facility at 151 Bloor Street West, a building owned and operated by GE Capital. Maher has also been retained to complete all interior design, engineering and construction for the facility. Larry Maher's design team includes ATLM INC, Cowan Consulting, Smith and Andersen Engineering. Maher has awarded the furniture contract to Global Total Office. Real estate efforts were finalized with the assistance of Colliers International.

Maher Construction continues its search for real estate in Winnipeg and Ottawa. Once secured, Maher Construction will head the relocation, design and construction efforts for LifeMates Canada. Real estate search is in conjunction with Colliers International.

LifeMates - Canada's leading dating and relationship company has reached an agreement with Maher Construction to provide real estate services across Canada, including office relocation, design and construction of new offices, and furniture supply. Maher Construction is working in conjunction with Colliers International to secure real estate. Current project: Edmonton, Alberta.

Maher Construction will be completing leasehold improvements at the apartment complex located in 108 Victoria Street in Whitby, ON. Leaseholds to take place over the next 6 months include: installation of a new roofing system, upgrading electrical and life safety systems, restoration of balconies and replacement of all windows and balcony doors.

Maher Construction will be constructing the newest fitness facility for Shape Health and Wellness Centre. Shape, currently located in midtown Toronto, will be adding a second location in the east-end of the City. This boutique gym is approximately 5000 square feet and will include a fitness training centre, spa and chiropractic treatment rooms. Additional information can be found at

Ontario Heritage Trust, an agency of the Government of Ontario, recently approved Maher Construction's bid to complete the interior renovations at 10 Adelaide St. East in downtown Toronto. The main features of the renovation include the restoration of several key rooms throughout the building including the main hall, Birbeck room and Oval room. Construction is anticipated to be completed by end of 2007.

Davpart Inc has awarded Maher Construction the contract to complete minor alterations to an existing 2000 s.f. space and in partnership with Global Group and Harkel Furniture, to design, supply and install a fully furnished office space to serve as the new show suite at 1 Eglinton Avenue East, located in mid-town Toronto.

The Bank of Nova Scotia has recently awarded Maher Construction the renovations at Scotia McLeod North Toronto Branch located in the Madison Center. Construction to commence June 2007.

Adgar Developments and Investments has contracted Maher Construction to provide construction services to build a new 12,000 s.f. model suite at 75 Eglinton Ave West in Toronto. Maher in partnership with the Global Group will be supplying furniture for the model suite.
Construction of the 12,000 s.f. show suite is scheduled to begin April 2007 and open for viewing June 2007.

Maher Construction was hired by Spynga Yoga Studio, as recommended by X-Designs, to complete construction of its new yoga and spinning studio. The work will be captured by HGTV's "Opening Soon: By Design," to be aired May 2007

Maher Construction will be constructing the new resource and learning center as well as renovations to the existing offices of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal at their head office located at 5075 Yonge St in Toronto.
The main areas of construction will include a new exhibition center, leadership training room and a resource and research center.

Adgar Developments has recently enlisted the team of Colliers International, Global Group, and Maher Construction Inc. to construct a model suite at 1881 Yonge Street. The suite will be completed on August 16, 2006 and open for viewing soon thereafter. Interested companies may lease the model suite or commission the team to build a suite according to their specific needs. The model suite will be ready-to-occupy and fully furnished with WiFi capabilities, offering potential tenants a brand new, state-of-the art facility in which to operate their business.

The Bank of Nova Scotia has awarded Maher Construction the contract to complete the interior renovations for Scotia McLeod Toronto Uptown Branch Offices at the Yonge Eglinton Centre. The project is scheduled to be completed in September 2005.
Maher Construction will be working with Edward Makauskas Architect and McGregor Allsop Consulting Engineers.

The Brick Corporation has awarded Maher Construction the contract to complete renovations at Mississauga North retail outlet.
Maher has also been awarded the contract to undertake the renovations for The Brick and United Furniture Warehouse Clearance Centre in Toronto.

Maher Construction Inc. finalized Phase I of Save The Children Canada office expansion in 2003 and has been contracted to construct Phase II, scheduled for completion, summer 2005.
